I have recently come across several photos of tattoos based upon this image.

This is not OK.

When you use my image as a tattoo, you are essentially paying some tattoo artists a huge amount of money to reproduce my image.

I am happy to see that this image is so popular. I was flattered by the first tattoo.

But right now other people are profiting from my efforts, as my copyrighted materials are being reproduced and distributed without my permission or compensation.

If you would like to use this image in a tattoo, please contact me. I'm not saying no to all tattoos of me, but if you're willing to shell out the money to pay for a tattoo, you can afford to compensate me for right to use my image. It's that simple.

I'm an artist, and you don't duplicate my work without my permission.

The rules on the use of this photo haven't change, but I've had to emphasize a rule.

It seems there is no Horror and Macabre, or Emotive, or Scary and Terrifying, Gore or Bloody Zombie subcategory for stock images. Oh well.

Since I've had such immense response to my image, [link] , I thought I'd release the unedited image as stock.


Please respect the following rules:

1) No portraits. Please use this image as part of a larger scene, or make a significant change to make it your own. Just changing the colour levels or framing doesn't count! I already have my finished piece

2) Please link to this image and my profile in your deviation description (eg: Stock: Attack by SaylaMarz)

3) Please comment in the image comments here with a link to your finished product! That way anyone curious can find what other people have done

4) Please do not use for commercial purposes, or off of deviantArt, without first asking for my specific permission.

5) If for any reason I am ask you to alter or remove your final piece, please respect my wishes. I highly doubt this will ever come up - the only example I can think of is if you are using my image to make a political statement I disagree with. If you're concerned, just message me about what you intend to do.
